LOL. Chihuahuas are what scares me the most! LOL Ever see one of those suckers mad?
I use to work at the vet office and we had a few Chihuahuas we deemed "possessed". It would take 3 different adults(conditioned employees) to get a muzzle on 'em. I was one of those three of four. Someone held the dog with a really thick towel and because I drew the short straw, I had to be the one to put on the muzzle. That little dog was all teeth and eyeballs! LOL One of the most memorable experiences at the vet office. I guess they just weren't socialized well or were just so scared/ticked to be in the vet office they were on the offense.
It took us all a whole 10 minutes to get a muzzle securely on that particular chihuahua.
Sorry, for the hijack, lovethechickens, mentioned their chihuahuas and the whole experience from the vet office popped back into my head.
It was not a knock against chihuahuas(just in case any of you took it that way). It was just a memorable and very very comical experience. It still get's me laughing think about it. I bet you'll laugh too if you imagine it.
"Three or four adult experience Veterinary Assistants standing in the hallway, nerviously laughing. One is holding a small chihuahua in a large thick towel. The chihuahua is showing ALL of it's teeth and is so mad/scared that it's eyes are bulged out. It's snapping at the air like a cobra and the vet assistants are passing the muzzle around because no one wants to put their hands near the dog's face to secure the muzzle. Finally I take the muzzle and inform the person holding the dogs scruff to NOT let go. The first few attempts at placing a muzzle were unsuccessful as the dog pulled the muzzle off and snapped before the strap could be drawn. Eventually the now growing crowd(4-5) gets the muzzle on the dog and the dog goes on with it's life. I am pretty sure it ended up biting one or two other people. Didn't get me though, luckily"
Everyone has such beautiful dogs. They all look like great family members.
Lovethechickens, love your dogs pink coat, really gives it that "man-eater" look.
