What kind of bands are u using on their legs?

Chicken Hill. Found them on Amazon. They come in different sizes. I had the “small” but even on Silkies they only fit for a day or two. Medium seems to work for most chicks. They are good for about a week, which is long enough for my purposes. I use colored zip ties for larger birds if needed.
