George is a silkie with two different color parents. I have no idea if his comb is typical or not. It's a little freaky if you ask me. But he's a good boy!

That black one is adorable, it looks like he is standing on his tippy toes. How long does it take for them to develope their full combs? I have some that are 5-6 months and I am wondering if they are done growing yet?

They will continue to grow, sometimes for years...the combs on your boys aren't done yet.

Here's my partridge boy Puff.

I almost didn't keep him cause he was ugly as a youngster. Silkies grow slow he has matured into a good looking guy. I trimed off his top notch cause he free ranges in the yard and I have hawks.
