Looking out over Tucson from the Santa Catalina mountains the other day.

Downtown Tucson early this morning. I love the clouds. Note the attempt at a grass lawn (we don't really have lawns outside of parks and golf courses; that one is part of the main library complex). On the left at just 23 stories is the tallest building in Tucson. It houses some of Arizona's largest law firms and a rather posh Marriot hotel.

From a recent hike, looking out over the Little Cat and Big Cat mountains and some of the communities southwest of Tucson. It was 75F.

Pretty clouds and a fake saguaro cactus that is actually a cell tower. Those are all over and people make fun of them. At least they tried to make them blend in!

This was in our sky today. It is a powered parachute which consists of a parafoil with a motor and wheels. First time I've seen one. I've seen people parachuting around here before but nothing like that. I had to look up what the heck it was.

We’ve got those around here too, people take off from the hills and then coast down and land…somewhere. I didn’t actually know they had motors until I got close to one and heard it. Kinda startling!
