Wispy clouds above Sentinel Peak (2,897 ft/900 m), aka "A" Mountain (for the University of Arizona), southwest of Tucson.

The view from the top of Mt. Wrightson, 9456 feet (2882 m), about 30 minutes south of Tucson. It's the highest peak around here and one of the best hikes. My lungs struggle a little when I go over 8000 ft. so we didn't linger.

Beautiful blue sky but how dry and crispy the brush is! We're missing a lot of our winter rains. The peak itself is starkly barren and there were little bits of snow on the ground here and there.

What people don't know is 2/3rds of WA state is sunny most of the time. All from my yard.

As far as skies go, we have pretty ones.
