This was a rare snowstorm. we do get snow here about once a year, but this one was a doozy.

aw deb...if only i could submit the pic of our snowman....he's only about 3 feet tall because the snow was fluffy and not packing well....so he's a lump...with 2 coal eyes...and icicle arms and nose and a baby carrot mouth.

but N. IL. total snow accumulation thus far is something like 25-26 inches.

We were at 13 inches last year at this time and close to the record of the worst snow in 1978-79....we might beat that this year, me thinks.
