Looks like I am going to have to put a cover over the top of where the girls are, they are testing out their wings lol and one keeps looking around the top of their enclosure, it reminds me of the velociraptors (sp?) out of jurassic park before they break free

Yep, couldn't have any in the suburbs where I lived in Australia, moved to the US & couldn't have them in the city in Oklahoma. Moved here for hubbys work and WOO HOOO I got to get to have chickens!!!

I got 6 barred rocks, pullets - although I have my doubts about 2

. Ordered them through my local ag store that ordered them from a place in Ohio, I am hoping they gave me all girls like I wanted.

Okay, well when they get older post them in the breed and gender section and they can help you determine their gender. I have 42 chickens of miscellaneous breeds.
