Yeah he seems great, friendly and helpful - i spoke to him a bit about BR's before I got them.Okay, Mitchell would know, he's so awesome! He's my friend![]()
I really don't want to have any roosters - while yeah they would be great for babies down the track (there goes that chicken math) lol I don't want to have to deal with the mean side of a rooster.
One of the local mennonite families owns some land down behind our house and they keep their chickens there, well for weeks the girls were getting out and coming to our place to just hang out and eat bugs out of my garden (this started my REAL want for chickens LOL) well the rooster would come with them time to time and he was fine. Well one day my 4yr old and I were out in the garden and he was walking with me as I was killing the grass in the mulch around the trees and out of nowhere BOOM the rooster comes flying at as - he managed to get my lil guy pretty bad in the thigh with his spur and Kaleb (my 4rd old) has been scared of all"roosters" since

Awww cute!
