Here's a pic of one of my chicks my son and I took tonight while trying out our new DIY lightbox.

New kid here... saw everyone's beautiful birds and wanted to jump in! Mine come with a fun story though...

This is Harley, I wanted more of her so I got her a boyfriend (who later got eaten by a fox protecting his ladies

)



My lovely girl sat on her eggs and my excitment mounted as I counted down the days till I'd have mini Harleys running about. Instead I got these....









Only 2 of my 4 were even close to what I wanted and I pitied my poor Harley for only hatching to of her own. So I tried again borrowing a freinds rooster and kept her in a seperate pen so she could hatch her own children not others.... Unfortunately only 2 hatched and to my dismay... the crazy hen struck again... My poor Harley marched about her pen with only on of her kids and one of crazy Hens...





This is them today...



This is not hers.... We have no Roos that would throw this... only crazy hen!


I've come to accept I won't have millions of my favorite hen around but I have 3! and 3 little odd balls....

Thank you! The two polish x roos are wild looking. Their mother enjoys tormenting me with her children... Richard the little red/black one is a doll so he may just have to stay with me!
