Show Off Your Coops!

Here is mine before I finished the painting. For my little flock of 5.

I’m a first time chicken owner and we have a silkie (which I love and she was our first layer), frizzled cochin (also a sweetie and second layer), a D’Uccle, a Hamburg mix and a cochin mix. The last three named are not laying yet. Can’t wait! Our frizzled cochin lays everyday and the silkie does a pattern of two days laying one day off 😃. We love the eggs. The yokes are great. Perfect size for our family.

Here pictures of the crew. Except for Becky who was laying in the nesting box.
Beautiful! What kind are the bantams?

We renovated the hay barn. At a time with insane wood prices -$1200 in lumber!!! 😶 Well we also overbuild, we use 4x4 framing. Before and after photos - the front had collapsed 13 inches so we jacked the structure and got it level. Inside layout before we closed sides in. I love seeing everyone's coops 🥰
