Show off your Flock!

Louie, what did you use to cover your run with? Is that PVC and poulty netting? How wide is it and how tall is it? I'm hoping to do something really similar! I"m expandng and in a big way....yours looks like what I had envisioned, please enlighten me!

Batting cage netting! Makes sense! I definitely need to have a cover for my run because hawks are our biggest predator around here. That and I don't need any escapees! Sadly, they have to be contained completely where we are or they won't last, so I want to make a HUGE run for them. I had the idea of PVC poles covered with netting or something silimar. But I want it to be sturdy and not fall over if it rains!

Still working on ideas. It needs to work perfectly from day one, because I don't have the cashola to make it by trial and error, if ya know what I mean!

I have several more chicks to be added to my flock in the next few months.

I can tell that one of my chicks is part Barred Rock! Yay! Can you tell I like the barred rocks? I believe one of my chicks is also from the EE's. He hatched from the blue egg that had incubating, and is mostly black. When/he she feathers out more, I'll be able to tell more!

Now, with all the babies, I've got, I now need to figure out what breeds they are and mashed them together.....
