Show off your house ducks!

O I was missing my cha cha fix too!!
I've been so stinkin busy poor ChaCha has been all on her lonesome lately! Need to take more pictures! Lol
ditto!! Cha Cha is owner of the house in all her sweet and adorable glory.
Adorable, absolutely! Sweet? Not so much. She hates the poor dog LOL but she definitely rules the roost! We were watching a movie so she thought it appropriate to sit at the very tippy top. Surveying her land. Quacking in my ear.

It really is so hard! We hatched some serama in my animal science class last semester and the kids were devastated when one of the itty bitty chickies passed away! Watching their devastation made it that much worse! Poor little Milkshake! And Amy!

The idea of Cha Cha loudly quacking in your ear during the movie while not caring at all as to what you were doing is so cute and funny. It's because she's a duck and knows she is the one that rules the domain and so it is okay. Yay for her.

And the picture of her sitting on the backrest of the sofa is the best.

It rained last night and Nibbles (who usually follows me around while I'm feeding everyone) is refusing to leave the house. He HATES mud. Anyone else have a duck with a phobia of mud or is it just my mr prissy pants?

That's wonderful!! My babies love the mud - so much that it's hard to get them back inside! They will chill in this weather if they stay out too long with wet feathers, but they don't see it that way. Had to run around in the pouring rain to get them back into the house yesterday! Today it snowed, so they didn't get any outside playtime, since they aren't fully feathered yet. I would love it if they were a little more prissy! An armful of drenched, muddy, squirming ducklings is quite a challenge!!!

I don't blame him. I would stay inside too until it dried out and warmed up some.

She's a brat. But we love her!

ditto!!! ChaCha loves the rain... but we don't have very much mud here, all sandy.

Fond these old cute photos of Trixi!
