Show off your house ducks!

Do any of your house ducks enjoy staring out the window? Wobbles and Bean's new favorite activity is just sitting in front of the bedroom window and watching people and cars go by. It's weird, but cute. I think I'll get a little ramp for them so they don't have to crane their necks to see out of it.

That's so cute! I used to think ChaCha wanted out but eventually I learned she was just watching what was outside. She likes to watch the neighborhood animals, but she has NO desire to get out there where they are lol She DOES get antsy at the door if it's raining and she's cooped inside. She's hardly been indoors at all this past week is rained SO MUCH. She just dabbles in the mid and splashes in the flood waters, crazy duck!

Winter's favorite thing is shoes! And, she loves all kinds - flip flops, tennis shoes, but her VERY favorite are fuzzy Winter slippers! (;

My goose loved shoes, but she grew out of it. ChaCha hasn't ever shown an interest, she prefers to eat my wicker baskets that toad! She will eat thread and fabric scraps though so I have to keep a puppy pen between her and my sewing area. I wonder what it is about shoes?

@Amykins, can you send me Wobbles measurements for his adult diaper please? Winter's will be a little bigger but they should be relatively close and I want to get a baseline to ensure I'm doing it correctly! Thank you!

Sure! I still have his but mind you it's best to get your own measurements to be 100% sure that it's gonna have just the right fit for lil' Winter. Here they are:

Inner legs: 2 3/4 inch
Outer legs, straight across: 4 1/2 inch
Outer legs arced over the back, following the body contour: 7 1/2 inch
Neck circumference: 9 inch (basically around his crop where the neck loop would go)
Back length: 6 inch
Belly length: 7 inch
Oil gland to vent: 3 inch

Kukupecpec answered a buncha questions for me while I was trying to figure out exactly what needed to be measured. TBH I'm still not 100% sure if I did it right. But his fit like a charm, so there you go!

Oh! By the way @kukupecpec , those new ones for Wobbles that didn't quite fit? They actually work quite nicely on Bean! I had to stitch up the front section since it was still bowing outward which sent poop rolling out the front of it, but at leas it's functional now, albeit not the prettiest-looking thing. So I think that with a couple more tweaks, your call duck-specific diaper will be perfection!
