I was thinking a round casserole dish would be better. Who wants a square duck? Lol
And they are back to food references. Can't help it. They're so cute you just want to eat them up. Lol
Here's my great-grandmother's recipe for fresh baked Call Duck! You will need:
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 5-6 tbsp whole milk
- pinch of salt
- round loaf pan (the smaller the better)
- 1 duck
Mix wet ingredients, add dry. Knead duck. Form into adorable duck loaf. Be sure to soak the feathers with the milk, otherwise it will not shrink enough while baking! Place into round pan; be sure duck fills it out for maximum roundness. Bake for 16-18 minutes or until quacks become noticeably higher-pitched. Allow to rest for ten minuets, then turn out from pan. Feed peas immediately.
That is CUTE. They are CUTE. Who is clucking?Oh, by the way, guess who finally captured her own little Tomato Wars on video?![]()
You are so right. I want to squeeze my finches so hard. And when I look at them I am always gritting my teeth so hard cuz they're so cute it's hideous.I know, right?? What is it with adorable things and wanting to eat them? That or squeeze 'em to death. The cuter the thing, the more you just wanna squoosh 'em 'til their heads pop off!
...Not that I'd ever do that, obvs![]()
It can be any egg you want.I have to ask since I got a "" before... Is that egg a chicken egg, a duck egg, or a call duck egg?
