I see this is an older thread.. I'm a new "house duck" owner and I've seen lots of talk of "duck diaper harnesses" anyone care to offer up your opinions on using them??

You are not alone. Here's Gizmo (Cayuga x Khaki Campbell) and Sebastian (Sebastopol). Are your ducks happy being inside pets? How has your experience been with the diaper harnesses? Just curious. They live inside with us. They bring a lot of joy into our lives!

I have house finches. They free range when I am at home. Too tiny to diaper so I always disinfect where they make a deposit. Love them. Lots. Zebra finches. EEEEEEEEE!!!

And I think house ducks are beyond adorable.

Hey guys!!! Its been forever it feels like...@Amykins I am sooo happy to see you've got your babies back! And don't worry about the distance with them. They will come around eventually. I had a cat that had to go to my moms and she refused to go near me after and now shes finally back to her obsessed with me ways

Good luck with your move!! We ended up moving to Florida so that was a change.

It was hard after Cupcake passed but now I'm feeling a bit better. Cookie, Scampii, Ducklett and Piplup are outside and happy..

Got another feed store belated birthday present ( got two but one passed) named Peeps

Anddddddd 6 of Scampii and Cookies eggs in the bator due to hatch tomorrow! So far all are progressed nicely and should hatch.. But not getting my hopes up tooo high as last time failed. Soo we shall see!

Which... I wanted to know since Peeps looks exactly like Scampii did as a baby, I am still unsure of what breed she is. I used to think Black Swedish but she is smaller than my blues and lays black eggs like a cayuga but has always had the white chest. I got her from a feed store so not sure if they had mixes or not.


Also to the diaper post, I've gotten my diapers from @kukupecpec or sewsammi and absolutellyy love them! Sewsammi.com is her website I believe also for facebook as well.

This Is Pracilla, she lives indoors due to some type of neurological disorder, my vets don't know what it is, I have read studies about her breed and they tend to have a mass of fat on top of their head that in some cases affect brain growth in different parts of the brain, most of the time it messes with motor skills. With Prissy, she is pretty clumsy and sometimes loses balace and flips on her back, unable to right herself. She also holds her head way differently than a normal duck, it's like a cork screw, but it doesn't cause her any pain. I treated her for wry neck at a very young age but she continued to grow like that no matter what I tried. She is such a sweet and precious addition to my household.
