Show off your house ducks!

Uhhh...to be honest, I don't think that's a good idea. Being sticky they attract lint and would soon render themselves useless. Also, being made of a jelly-like substance, trying to sew them onto anything would be incredibly difficult, and the stitching would likely slip out of it anyway.

It'd probably work with a sheet of latex, though. I think you can buy sheets of it online. Or neoprene. Or maybe you could find those little rubber feet they sell to stabilize furniture and stick those on?

Anyone know how to add calcium to fodder?

I add ACV to my chicken's water outside, and when ChaCha goes out to play she drinks their water but I haven't noticed anything different about it? You might double check that white and foamy thing with some duck health forums. Or even shoot a message to Fresh Eggs Daily (through her blog), I'm pretty sure she has an article about chicken poop, but she has ducks too and I know she's all natural so she probably uses ACV and could tell you if that's normal or if you need to get her checked out.

What about adding Oyster Shell grit?

The thing is, is that it's foamy only when I give her AVC. Even when it's super diluted. As soon as I stop, the foamy poop does too. It's weird lol. I will take your advice though and ask, thanks. :)

We have hard wood floors as well, and Misty does get red/sore feet after awhile. The only problem with these booties is they are made of fleece which is very slippery, I'm wondering what I could sew onto the bottom for traction. Otherwise they don't seem to bother her, and are really easy to make. They only take me about 20 mins to sew, and I don't have too much experience sewing!

If anyone would like, I could upload pictures/instructions on how to make the booties. My computers mouse's batteries just died, so I can't do it now.:(

I would love the instructions, we only have carpet in our bedroom. The rest of the house is hardwood floors. I was thinking maybe some shelving liner would work. Extra cushion, non-slip, and can be found at dollar stores. :)
