I used Puffy Paint & just dabbed on little feet dots on the bottoms of Daisy's neoprene booties I made for her. It's cheap at Wally World in the "crafts" section or even Michael's.

The diaper arrived! It fits Wobbles perfectly! No more cleaning up the hardwood floors! XD And she looks rather fetching in blue leopard print...

I hope you're right! I'm only griping because I spent the extra money to get a rush order, yet it's still taken over a month for it to ship. :/ I really want those booties. Do you know if they provide no-slip walking for slick hardwood floors or no?
i'm not sure on that. we considered getting them just because of their nails but as far as the no slip, i would assume so but im not sure

Incoming rant: I LOVE HAVING A HOUSE DUCK!!

Wobbles is the sweetest, cuddliest, most lovable bird I have ever seen. Even as I type this, she's curled up on my chest with her bill tucked over my shoulder in what I call a "duck hug". <3 I was so scared of keeping her indoors, if she wouldn't adapt, if she'd be difficult, how tough it'd be, how messy or expensive it'd be, etc., but she's honestly easier to keep than a dog. I wonder why house ducks aren't more common as pets, they're pretty terrific. I want to convince all my friends to get one!

Sorry to gush, it's just...man, I love these animals. I can't believe I never thought to get one earlier! YAY FOR HOUSE DUCK OWNERS!

i love my girls too! we are currently in the process of getting them certfied as emotional support animals so that they can come along on more outings and vacations. also so the landlord cant complain about the fact that they arent on the list of approved pets haha.
as far as them being more easy to take care of then a dog, i wish i could agree but i think mine are just spoiled little princesses. haha. they really remind me of what having kids would be like. diaper changes, bath times, snack times, and getting into things they shouldnt. but all in all they are really great pets and really rather well trained. they know certain words such as snack, bed time, bath time. they respond to their names. and they love mamas attention!!
also, they are literally so good withthe diapers. i just set it front of her and she inserts her head in the loop all on her own, and then puts her little butt in the air while i do her tail straps. when im done i say "go play" and she off. and changing them i lay them in front me where they nestle in my cleavage and stick their butts up to let me remove the old diaper and wipe her and insert the new one. sherlock likes to cuddle for a few more minutes after and get a few kisses in. ha.
oh and they are great alarm clocks! i work from home and my schedule starts at noon. so 11:45 almost on the dot, i feel sweet little pecks on whatever limb is hanging off the side of the bed that morning letting me know its time to get up!

LOL awww, what darlings! Wobbles isn't quite there yet with the diaper, but hopefully in time she will be. At least she tolerates it. I'm trying to get her accredited as a therapy animal, too! I already filed for her certification, I'm just trying to get her around as much new stimuli as possible before her test date so she won't freak out on the evaluator when the time comes. Wouldn't THAT just be hilarious?

mine are so use to people, bc i must say we do throw some shindigs at my place and they fit right in. one my boyfriends best friends have been around since they were babies and as soon he steps in the door they are right at him feet untying his shoes haha. they love them shoelaces.

so i think theyll do well on evaluation. if worse comes to worse ill hand the evaluator a vienna sausage which is their favorite and shell have no choice but to fall in love haha

Yeah, I almost bought that stuff but then realized I had all the vitamins and supplements in the house already (husband is a total fitness nut lol). Thank goodness I bought that mortar and pestle at my last garage sale hunting expedition!
