Show off your house ducks!

Ohhhh yeah. He does it ALL THE TIME to Mochi, hissing an' everything. Mochi weighs 22 pounds and Wobbles barely weighs 1 1/4, so it's like watching a sparrow charge a St.Bernard!

Oh. My. Wird. That Is funny. Why would a tiny chubby cheeked, web footed, stout billed, high crowned, round bodied duck bird go after a descendant of an African lion like that?

Many thanks for all that contributed to this thread.

You have been a huge inspiration and now I can present my own house ducks

Padme (drake) and Daffy (duck) are Aylesbury ducks and the nappies were sewn by amazing mother in law :)

Padme is the one with the blue nappy and Daffy is wearing the bird patterned one.

Enjoy:)

I don't suppose your MIL would be willing to share her pattern? :p And I LOVE these photos! Christmas with your ducks, hehe. I'm kinda sad, I'm alone this Christmas since the airline refused to accept Wobbles as a housepet. They say duck = livestock which they don't allow and that's the bottom line. Buncha idiots. Anyone else flown on a plane with their duck?

I could claim him as a support animal but after that fiasco this week with that lady and her pot bellied pig I'm afraid to go that route.

Hi, yes that pig changed everything. :) Merry xmas.

plus he is well shy of 2 lbs. he's also quieter than a wailing baby.

Thankfully he's a boy..dunno if I could say the same if he was a girl like we originally thought XD Seriously though, has anyone ever taken their house duck on a plane before? I'm really hoping for some firsthand experience or some tips on how to get Horizon Air to let him board. It's the only airline with a daily flight to Santa Rosa where my family lives.

Merry christmas! It takes a special sort of weirdness to own a house duck. doesn't it? But I'm glad to have found an open-minded, and open-hearted community that loves their indoor duckies as much as I do. I hope you all have a wonderful day. <3
