My pekin(Nibbles) always sees my muscovy(Quacks) flying and he'll run after her and flap his wings like crazy until she lands. It's quite funny to watch but it's also kind of sad. He wants to fly so bad!

he is a very interesting little guy. All the more reason to love him even more. His little call duck brain is far more complex than people give his type credit for I think. If you swim with him will you stay close to shore?I admit it's a bit funny to see, but it's also horribly upsetting! We've tried to toss him onto soft things like onto pillows and into the lake out back, but he seems to hate the water. He'll flap like man and make a beeline back to the shore where we are. We aren't allowed to swim in the lake, so I'm gonna hold off until I can take him to the Sound and swim out there with him.
Another fun tidbit - he has a new habit of losing his mind when I go to use the bathroom. He'll follow me in and when I sit down, he starts quacking and running in tiny circles all super-excited. I have no idea why! What on earth is going on in that little skull??
Oh, yeah. I wouldn't take hi out more than 10 feet or so. There'd a nice think bank of duckweed and lily pads all along the shoreline, we'd stick to that area just to be safe.he is a very interesting little guy. All the more reason to love him even more. Hysterical. Oh, man. He is so funny. How do you keep a straight face in your household?Yup. :3 I'm still baffled on the toilet thing, though...even if I walk by the bathroom he'll run in and quack at the toilet. Is it the sound? Does he know there's water in it? What is his fascination with that thing, and me using it?!
oh goody. I bet that's good exercise for him to paddle around in a large body of water.Oh, yeah. I wouldn't take hi out more than 10 feet or so. There'd a nice think bank of duckweed and lily pads all along the shoreline, we'd stick to that area just to be safe.
