but now I know why cupcake is sooo big.. she could eat the whole house! She now goes after our food like no tomorrow, jumping on our laps and if shes in her cage she will freak out, and get cookie into a freak out mood, just so she can be let out to attack what ever it is were eating. I've had ducks before, but nothing like these two. They love mommy.. (love to drive her nuts that is)

Darnit it wont let me add a video. I recorded them in the bath, as both of them now have their quacks mixed in with their peeps... i think they may both be girls but i still think cookie is a boy.. the darker one. I think im just trying to will one a male as two loud mouths will be fun. lol

To keep the peace in the Inner Sanctum pen, I gave Missy 3 Muscovy eggs. She is too young to lay herself, but her fascination with nests and babies gets her in trouble with the resident broody. She halfway sat on them, pushed them off to the side, and was totally ineffective, but that meant they were turned much more frequently than I would have done while waiting for Twin 2 to go broody. She got attacked by twin 1 only briefly, when she got off her nest to see Missy with eggs. I picked her up and put her back on her nest, and all was quiet.... Hopefully, it will keep low key, since she is not feeling leaving the pen, even with friends now..

Missy is something else. After her adventure it's great to see she's back to her fascination with nests and babies. Cool she was able to rotate the eggs for you.

Speaking of misbehavin', I think Bean's started to hit her terrible twos. She's a bit bitey and super scared of hands all of a sudden, right the heck outta nowhere! I hope it doesn't last. Poor little scaredy-Bean. At least she still likes to snuggle up under my chin, as long as I keep my hands away. So no pets for a while.

I think maybe I spoke too soon. You guys aren't gonna believe this, my hubby and I were snuggling on the lovesac watching Steven Universe together, and right outta nowhere, she flew high up in the air in a perfect parabola and landed right in my arms! She's a total pro at this flying thing, and she did it just so she could snuggle with us!

I'm so proud of her. She may be snippy at times now that she's a teenager but she's still my sweetie Bean. <3

Okay so I uploaded it. Cookie is the darker one in back, that let out that quack that sounds like a honk.. I will try to get better videos tomorrow, hopefully with cupcake quacking too.
