Show off your house ducks!

It's fun. I have silly sayings too and even made up words. Plain English doesn't cover it.

I always wanted to ask you, what does "hoopoose" mean? "Weebeep" is self-explanatory. Both are friggin' adorable. <3

Also wish me luck guys, I'm leaving the house in a minute to head to the hospital for my tonsillectomy x_x;;

You are in our wishes and on our minds. My wife went through this a couple years ago. Crushed ice is your friend. Have it around always!

Good wishes for your surgery.

You all make me want an adorable little call of my own.

If any of mine ever start talking no one would be able to understand them. Well you all might. Lol

These call ducks are so cute. They are loud though aren't they? Thats the only reason Ive been wanting a pekin over a call duck.

LOL. If that's your concern, you can easily broaden the scope of your search. You seem to have your heart set on a drake, and that works a lot in your favor since people have a harder time selling drakes than ducks. Call drakes aren't at all noisy. When you hear about Calls being noisy, people are referring to the ducks, not the drakes.

awe, you Sweet thing. Hoopoose has no meaning. Just something I say in a squealing voice to my birds. And best of luck on your tonsillectomy. Send us a note when u can.

No, I didn't! I did sing to Wobbles though. I think that's why he likes it when I baby-talk to him, he's used to my falsetto voice. :p And ohmigosh, that's SO CUTE! They remember a song from when they were eggy-wegs! SQUEEEE

Mine do seem to remember it. When I sing things to them like Itsy Bitsy Spider, Hush Little Baby, Rock-a-by Baby, etc., they stop and look at me like it's story time. Some will lie down and watch, some with stand there looking at me cocking their heads back and forth, etc., but it does always seem to calm them down. I know it's not just singing in general because they don't do it if it's just some random song. Isn't that sweet?

I just love picturing ducklets just dropping whatever important business they're doing & walking over to plant themselves in front of you all head tippy.
