I believe @Little lake Phi is pulling one over on us

He has signed his post as Phil and shows his location as Little Lake. His user name was selected to give you the idea he doesn't plan ahead (oops, the "l" didn't fit) when in reality, he is a genius and is 12 steps ahead of us. I believe he took a camera and set it up to do a sustained burst shot at the empty brooder. He then dropped the ducklings in the corner while taking 600 frames / second (notice how they are clustered together) and he probably had a good 10 frames to pick from between when the last duckling stabilized on the bedding and the first one pooped... Genius!

I bet this is the beginning of @Tevyes Dad project to develop fastidious ducks!
I believe this was YOUR project to develop fastidious ducks... (curse the printed record!!!!) I merely postulated that direct genetic alteration would probably be a better route then selective breeding based on my vast vacuum of knowledge both in breeding ducks and in genetic engineering. (I still thing that getting bit by a radioactive duck would be the coolest thing ever). I don't have the space to construct a genetics lab in my back yard nor do I have the clout to borrow one for a couple decades from a local university. All I can to is sit back and be an armchair gene sequencer...

Your ducks are all beautiful! I have always wanted a house duck but with small children Im worried about them getting sick from them. Do any of you have small children with your house ducks? Or am I just over thinking it?

Possible, yes, I'll admit that was possible.

I'd like to advance the theory that the brooder was clean at the time the pic was taken.

No, I don't think I'm going for that, Tony. I'm not going for that at all. Nohow. Contrarywise. You clearly picked it up, and I have many witnesses to that as well.
