Show off your house ducks!

Your ducks are all beautiful! I have always wanted a house duck but with small children Im worried about them getting sick from them. Do any of you have small children with your house ducks? Or am I just over thinking it?

I have a 21 month old girl and my son is due in Feb. My daughter causes JoJo more harm than he would ever cause him. Don't let the kid play in duck pokp or poopy water. Don't let the duck run around your house with crap all over him. I over sanitize Ryleigh.. Lol..but the biggest thing is making sure when ur child is playing with the duck to wash their hands good before they stick them in their mouth, with a toddler it seems impossible but I make it work. Plus I work full time. You just have to get a schedule going as with anything else in a child's life. She has never got sick from a duck disease as my dh would say and he is a spaz about it

Yes. He will be getting to work at some point soon. If he comes up with fastidious ducks I will get some now or, er, when the time comes.

A hawk swoop down in my patio to try to get my call duck, I was so scare, I never thought Hawks would come near that close to a house. Thank god I had been teaching them to come into the house, and as soon as I opened the door the came running in I love them so much I can't believe they were in danger.

On a better note, here they are when they came in with my cat.

Cannot stand how cute they are in your house on that rug around all that dark and beautiful furniture and flooring. The little puffs really pop out in this photo.

@Little lake Phi You can click on the pencil in the lower left corner of a recent post (I think up to two weeks old) and edit it. It will show that it was edited and anyone who quoted you will have the original text, but we all have to suffer auto-correct and/or in that case, I believe, speech to text foul-ups (or fowl-ups if you prefer)...
