Show off your Muscovy mixed breeds!!

i sadly don't have any though :( which is okay

did you know that if a male mallard derived breed mates with the muscovy female that its most likely a girl!, i mean of course there are boys but the girls lay eggs, unlike mulards which have a mallard derived mother, those girls can't lay eggs and if they can its extraordinary!

Oh my gosh, that is so awesome to hear! I hope the female ratio of males male/scovy female cross holds true!

@treehuggerme I thought Swedish when I saw them too. But I'm a total newbie so don't take anything I say as knowledgeable. I'm just an info gatherer when I'm in over my head. I mean, like an obsessive, up until 2am reading through forums kind of info gatherer. The family really loves that part of me....

I don't proofread either.... Of course I meant mallard males and scovy female cross. Got a little carried away in the excitement of the moment. Lmbo

yeah they can also have babies, but either with a muscovy or mallard not with another mule :( and its very hard to even get a baby since then 60% of the eggs are infertile when they lay ( i think, I'm not sure)

I didn't know that... Thanks for the info!

Oh wow, fertility ratio seems low compared to mine, I have a snowy mallard drake and 3 female muscovys and over 20 eggs in my biggest females nest, shes taken over all the eggs and pulled them in with her clutch
