I’m looking for nice high quality or nice clear photos of Phoenix roosters, bantam or standard doesn’t matter. My preference is black breasted red, but I’d be fine with whatever, I’m looking for the pictures to draw one digitally for my background on my computer for this semester. So just post your Phoenix Roos, and I WILL let you see the drawing of your lovely and credit you for your chicken’s pictures

He’s a beauty, he’s a golden-duckwing right?

He’s a beauty, he’s a golden-duckwing right?

Golden-yes, duckwing-no. He is young and it seems every time I look at him his tail is longer. His first chicks hatch this weekend from a white Yokohama hen; should make for a beautiful cross. He's also with a phoenix hen. Her eggs hatch the middle of February.

D’ARTAGNON was the best chicken I ever had. He’d jump up on that gate to the chicken yard every time he saw us or when we arrived home in the car. He would crow for me on request. A fox got him last spring, the first bird I ever lost to a predator. I miss him so much.
