What a cute chicken! Is she fully grown. I love my little Silkie's personality, but she is only 2 1/2 weeks old and she has won our hearts. I love the breed, but was hoping she would not have such a big mophead when she (I think its a she) grows up and yours doesn't so that makes me hopeful. Mine is white also.

Thanks! Yep, she over a year old. I do not think she is a full breed silkie, she is larger and does not have the top hat like she should. She is also not as fluffy too. If yours is full bred, she might have the fluffy head You should show a pix!

Cocky, confident but fair and protective to his hens, even affectionate, grooming them and bathing with them. I've seen him grab a huge night crawler from the compost and dangle it calling them over to fight over it while he pecks millet. Hmm.. maybe he's into chick fights.
