This is Rock. He is a Japanese Bantam about one year old now. He is a lovely gently rooster and a great pet too. He loves to sit with the laying hens in their nest boxes and also help take care of the chicks.

He is beautiful, do you know what type of Japanese Bantam he is? Or is he a mix? I just for some reason love the look of Japanese Bantams I think it's the a short legs that make
then sooo cute.

He is a mix between a 'ginger' and a wheaten (think I spelled that right) colour.

I like to let all my different colours interbreed so see what I get. One of his 'sons' is iridescent black with dark red hackles and wheaten flight feathers.
