Most blues I have seen are dark legged... This one almost looks like Red Pyle.. but I do see some blue/grey in the tail feathers.

He's super handsome and has a GREAT shape. It's amazing how fast they grow and change at this age. My splash is six months old now and finally starting to get a tail!

there was a third roo in the gang but he picked a fight with a German Shepard too many times and finally got what was coming to him. All three hatched together and they shared girls, food and space. I think it's a bad thing. They don't protect my girls. They are the first ones to eat out of my hand but the first ones to run and hide from danger.

These were my two black Australorp boys. A dog killed 4 of my girls and after I collected 11 fertile eggs my last girl disappeared. I got 8 to hatch but one died. But we now have a new flock and gave away these two boys. They were so sweet.
