Its hard to want to get rid of them they are so pretty and they are very protective to the hens.

  1. Here is Albain, my porcelain d'Uccle cockerel (he is 8 months old) who was hatched by completely removing him from his egg (thank you BYC, fowlweatherfriends and silkiechicken) and seeing the gorgeous roo he has become, boy am I glad I did. Since he was hand raised, he is very sweet and personable. He is a bit muddy in this photo, but handsome nonetheless.

Have never seen a boy like this, very nice looking bird, looks almost transparent like so cool.

yeah it really is hard to get rid of my roosters cause i got 2 polish girls i want to use with them well actually 4.. so i'm gona see if my mom's co worker since he has a big coop at his place and closed in.. if he will let me rent it since he doesnt have chickens any more and i can possibly start my hatching.. i got lots of hens but thing is i dont even eat there eggs not a big egg eater what so ever so i sell them every week.. i just want chickens i'm so addicted to them.. and saying they are protective yes at times but to be honest the roosters cant even protect the hens from my duck Harrold he is mean and honory he picks on everyone and thing including me so i may be getting rid of him cause how bad he has gotten now lately he's actually trying i think to kill one of my RIR and the other RIR he doesnt even bother.. he is such an odd duck
