40 to 50 dollers is a lot to ask for a laying chicken i would only pice a chicken that much if he were a show chicken that was winning at all the huge poultry shows and has a great conformation for a show bird. but he is a laying chicken so the fair pice would be $5.00 to $6.00

that is ok to think that. I understand. I was making sure that foxyloxy19 would not scare her customers away. he looks like a delaware which is a very common breed. if you were selling a rare breed you can sell it for $8.00 or more.
