This is Squealer he is 23 weeks old. Tractor Supply said he is a production red. My son named him squealer because the ride home from tractor supply 1 chick was chirping loudly non-stop the whole way home and we opened the box and he was standing straight up in the middle of the box chirping while all the other chicks were asleep lol

He is production red, like the owner said. A true heritage rir will hve much deeper color. You won't get one from a hatchery

YES HE'S VERY HANDSOME!!! IS HE A SILVER?? I've a couple 5 month old Silver Ameraucana cockerels that kinda look similar. I will need to post pictures

LOL I just realized he has yellow legs, is he a cross between a silver laced and Ameraucana perhaps?
