He was a retired fighter that I took in
( he has no eye) some people say this is bad but I think it makes him look tough
Idk what breed he is but I wish I could find another like him
He was a well handled bird ( unless u came on his blind side)
He got eaten by a coyote ( our dogs died that week and they got brave)

Yes that's a zip tie I didn't have any leg hitches yet this was day 1 of game chicken breeding for me I got 6 roosters dumped on me and I just loved them... Still do

Some of my Extremely Rare High Percentage Japanese Onagadori Roosters. (We sell birds and fertile hatching eggs)
















Notice the majority of the roosters have thin tail feathers? That's an Onagadori trait. The well known Phoenix here in the U.S. have wider tail feathers. Onagadori have thin. Also an abundance of multiple tail feathers to make a nice full tail. Also Phoenix molt their tail every year. My roosters don't molt their tail every year and continue to grow if I keep them out of sight from hens to lower their hormones to prevent molt. Mine are not pure but they have allot of Onagadori blood in them. Hope you liked the pics.
