Wow! I have two pullets that look just like that! One of them has grayish legs like an Americana and the other ones legs are yellow.

they love to hate each other lol They are great chickens. They do well out together but someone always has to keep them apart.

Actually, my post was aimed more to people new to caponing as I'm sure you know the law as you have done it before. It is not true that it is only illegal in UK, most of western european countries have banned caponing,main exception is France where they have big industry with capons, especially poulle de bresse which are sold at premium price.

Ah, I see. I didn't know it was illegal in that many European countries. I'd only heard of banning in the UK. I've heard of the poulet de Bresse birds, the raising process is very fascinating.

Front and profile - Brahma cross (Mother americana?) Another Brahma cross (mother black australorp?) Father Roo - a bit dirty today. The young roos hang out together and look like they belong in a Rock Band!
