Seeing all these roosters makes me miss my rooster

. My old rooster was such a sweet heart, a Naked Neck Turken. He was so pretty, to! He was black and had shades of green, purple, and dark blues. I would totally get another rooster, but I don't think my new neighbors would like that very much.

That happened to me also!!  My sister-in-law gave me 3 drakes for my pond, and 5 roosters.  Now I am overrun!  Chickens, ducks, quail....  I was always good in Math, but this is ridiculous! 

Lol! I also kinda had that happen,but because someone was less than honest to me!! After i got those 2 slw, i got 2 buff orp hens. Then i got a buff orp roo to breed for purebreds. I built a seperate coop so i could separate come spring. Well those 2 hens ended up being young males! I was so heartbroken! I had to rehome 2,cause i couldn't have 4 roos in with the 2 slw hens! So now its just 2 roos,2 hens....and 3-6wk old chicks and 7 day olds! Lol

i got another rooster! he is my avatar he is a white barred rock rooster he is 4 years old and loves his new flock

He's actually a red sexlink. Barred Rocks are not white, and White Rocks do not have red 'leakage.'

Got this guy into work yesterday. 1/2 EE 1/2 Crele Orpington. He sold within the hour. He had an amazing temperament.
