yeah its hot but there making it i give them frozen treats it feels like the the 100's its hot

Same here. I have been taking ice out to their waterers every few hours, it melts oh so fast

. The worst part is I am getting less eggs, lol it's always the precious eggs that stop coming in this crazy heat. 9 eggs a day out of 20 hens

One of my BBS Ameraucana cockerels. The first crower in the group. He was around 14 weeks in this photo, boy do the AMS mature slowly.

What color are yours? Hoping mine will turn out to be nice big and good looking. I'm waiting until they are approx. 20-22 weeks to cull my AMS, they mature so slow. They just haven't filled out quite enough yet, also waiting for the feathering to come in more on the cockerels. Also hoping their temperament dials down a bit, they are pretty skittish.

Ours are also black. We just got a few for our mixed flock. Not old enough to say much about temperament bit so far they are pretty loving chicks.
