Pretty proud of my Morris. He's such a snazzy guy. He's the big rooster on the ground.

This is my EE Roo, Toffee. In normal light, he mostly looks just plain red and black. But in the sunlight his wings and tail are so pretty! I could never get it to show up in a picture, (and he doesn't like me pointing a camera at him, either. LOL) But I finally got him to hold still just right, in front of a window, and caught this picture of his iridescence. So cool! I love him so much- he jumps in my lap and lets me pet him. He also likes to stand in front of the small floor fan that sits on the other side of the chicken wire, so that his hackle feathers blow back and all around. I tell him that it makes him look like "Fabio".

Morris is a handsome boy! My barred rock girls are my absolute favs. I'm thinkin' they would really love that guy!

The BCMs have quickly become my favorites for many reasons.

They do the best at foraging for food, lay well and are a true dual-purpose bird, they are also a very docile breed from my experience.
