Show off your roosters

This is my 5 month old frizzle Cochin bantam cockerel, Papaya. He is a total sweetheart, and absolutely loves to be held and cuddled. He's a huge ladies man, and is always showing off how big and macho he is. He also does a great job protecting his favorite girl, Mango, from my other cockerel. Papaya is definitely the big boss, and he does not hesitate to tell everyone. His crow is the cutest, most pathetic little thing, but he always looks so proud afterwards. He's such a little cutie.

and this is Mr Biggles. He is the whole reason I got into domestic chickens. Someone dropped him off at our pasture when he was a young spud, that was years back. I started to build him a coop so I could get him some girls and bring him home. He like the wild girls at the pasture better, go figure... and got taken by a dog during a rodeo after a year or so (is there a lifes lesson in that somewhere?!! def a country song...) I'm sure he was protecting the flock he loved so much. I had better photos but they are on a thumbdrive. We still feed his descendants every morning and night.
