My beautiful rooster, Vern. Welsummer, I think.

I don't think it's a Welsummer, he has white earlobes, and his iridescent-ness is too blue. He looks like a Mediterranean breed.

White ears is a fault with welsumers but they do have them. Mediterranian? I know nothing of chickens but will look at other breeds. Thanks.

I've been looking at those Mediterranians - beautiful birds. But, also found a Wesummer in a chicken show that looks just like mine - irridescent and all - but of course without the white ears. ​

Actually, I would lean towards a Partridge Leghorn.
