It’s probably an older version of the same thing you have. My parents used it for their puppy. He was born in 1997! He’s passed now and they gave us two sets. I also used them to keep my son away from the TV wires and garden plants when he was small. Now I use them to fence the chickens away from the plants on the patio. Don’t tell them the barrier is all in their heads and they could fly over, lol.That fencing looks like what I use to contain my 2 year old. I have about 20 panels of this stuff.

That's cool. Looks like it was made for fake dogs.This is another container I found at a thrift store, also for $5. I don't know what its original purpose was. I have used it for chickens, keeping it in the car when I go to the poultry swaps, just in case I find something to buy. It's very compact and easy to carry for chicken shopping! It's convenient to have, taller and easier to carry than a pet carrier.
