LOL... my daughter would beg to differ. My tom goes after EVERYONE including my daughter. I have no idea why either. I have to put him in a pen when people come over. To think I named him Buddy...... LOL.

This is Buddy and he is about 3 yrs old. I got him last Nov or Dec.


What color is Buddy?

Buddy is a Bronze turkey so he has MANY colors.

Yep it's a turkey alright. I guess you would call it a pencilled sweetgrass. Probably won't do any picture taking until it gets a little cooler out. Was 110 today!

I totally get it. It's been in the 100's here too. Stupid hot! I have to go out and check all my broodies, poor girls. I just had to toss a bunch of eggs. They were never going to hatch...... stunk too. You know what happens in this heat. I could swear they cooked the eggs. Any how, I did put 1 egg under each hen so at least they could hatch 1 egg each. I stole them from another broody hen. She wasn't to happy. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your turkeys. I just love the colors.

So I'm thinking about order 15 from Porter's... however I am a little confused, I think it said they wouldn't be here 'till next year...

Yes. I just went ahead and placed an order for 15 Sweetgrass Poults to be shipped beginning of next year... so long to wait!
