I think it is a great learning experience to post photo's of birds and ask questions about their type color etc. etc. In my opinion and this is in no way meant to slam the OP as many many ask the same question in the same way. Is this bird show quality?
I think we would get more accurate and better information if we posted a photo and asked for input on type, color, comb faults etc etc.
I think I have yet to see someone post the question is this bird SQ and then get a positive "you bet" response. I think in general those with show quality birds have a pretty good idea that they have that kind of bird.
Again just suggesting a way to formulate the question so as to get a more critical and more valuable response.
For example a couple of us, Chris 09 included have posted pictures on a Breed website and asked for input from some seasoned breeders, showmen, judges. The information was invaluable even though very critical. If you ask some of these long time breeders to pick a bird apart you better have some thick skin, because they will find the faults.
Just a suggestion going forward
