Are you going to be at the Wisconsin International Show in September this year? I'm only about a half-hour from where that show is held - if you're going to be there, you must bring me some Calls! I've been saving up to buy some nice ones later this fall.

Beautiful ducks as always, Mrs. Turbo. I have noticed over the last several years that the popular Runner type that does well at shows is the more slender variety. I was just thinking about that yesterday. Some lines of Runners are much stouter. I like both types, but think I prefer the heavier birds. I have thought though about starting some new lines in some of my Runner varieties that are more typical of the current show winners, lighter weight and more slender.

Three sets in the incubator after these. The ducks just won't quit! I've had them to two shows now and the whites and grays have already molted, but it seems like every time something big happens, like a show, it stimulates them rather than slows them down! Hopefully the fireworks this weekend won't make the "egg slot machine" pay out, because if so, I may have to fire up another incubator here. These guys have to be ready for a rest sometime, you would think! My black hen *finally* decided to molt, she's been my best layer but I've actually started to be getting worried about her constant laying. You could just about set your watch by her, she was that predictable.

They are all so cool! I wish my runners were that quality. But it really doesn't matter, I guess, I love them anyway. But those are really neat...............................
