You should try going with a breeder, as you'll never get SQ birds from a hatchery. Also, if your hen is splash, you shouldn't breed her to a splash male as it will dilute the colring. If you want more splash babies, get a blue male. That would give you 50% splash, 50% blue. If you want blue babies, get a black male and you'll get 100% blues. Then crossing blue x blue will produce 25% splash, 50% blue, 25% black.

I have a grey male for sale.....but I don't know if he is show quality. I don't know what a show quality silkie is actually...I hatched the eggs from someone on here. I have a grey roo and a splash roo. One of them (not picky which) is free to a good home. I am located in Danville, VA.
