show quality?

Hi, I want to show one of my chicks when it gets big but I have no idea what show quality is. all I know is she is a very pretty pullet. I wonder if I could get into the poultry show without being in the 4-H

Type "youth poultry shows" your town or state and your pullet's breed into your search engine and see what comes up.. It should give you standards for the shows and a list of youth poultry shows and their rules and regulations.. Hope that gives you a start. Dixie

You don't need to be in 4-h for youth shows, unless it is a 4-h show. If you want to know if your chicken is show quality you can probably find the breed standard for her breed online
