Show question

Hi all, We went to my DD's second 4H show yesterday, lots of fun. I noticed alot of OEG and MGB there the most, like 50% of all the entries. I'm sure it's mostly because their smaller for the lil kids hands. We had the only MF D'Uccle out of 4 D'Uccles there. Next year we're hoping to bring lrg Faverolles and maybe Sultans, there was only 1 banty pair of SF there and no Sultans of course.
So my questions is...At a show is it better for a type to have multiple entries competing, just 1 entry or does it matter either way? Thanks

For me being very involved in 4H i like to be the only entry that way i win ALL KINDS of ribbons, but in real life i think it is better to have a lot or multiple entries so if you win you know that your birds are at least better than the small sampling at that certain show.

I kinda figured it that way, thanks. She did win an awesome crate to put her bird in with a show plaque and that she won 2 pl for the knowledge quiz! I will post a picture of it cuz it's all from kindling and wouldn't be to hard to make. I think it would also look nice stained on the outside.

However, if you have the only example of a particular breed & you "win" a blue ribbon what have you really won?
