We got 2 chicks this spring from the farm store that they said were araucanas. Of course we have since found out how rare true araucanas really are, but we love them both for their personalities. We really wanted a diverse flock and tried to blend breeds that were fairly docile and got along with others. These two are perfect examples. We chose from the most different coloring and this is what we got.


This is Molly, my hubby's "girlfriend".


This is Phoebe. The contrast of silver-blue and brown really made her a bonus in the looks department!
