Mine are Jumbo brown Coturnix. They are now three weeks and three days. They grow so very fast. I have 18 of them and one will have to be put down this weekend due to toe problems. I just finished their pen outside and can't wait to put them in so that they can have a more natural setting. My pen will be on the ground and I'm thinking of building an off ground pen for the winter.
Good luck with your Quails. Did you get them yet? can we see pics?

They are so cute. What kind of quails are these? I see a very cute one, white with a brown strip down it's back. Tooo cute !

I have a few mystery ones but I have 2 tuxedos 2 wild and blue faced 1 and silver whit.
I don't know the white and black in the down right corner.

Pretty. More black/brown than white. Are yours and ShelleyBear Chinese painted quails maybe? Either way, very pretty.

Mine are starting to get some red under the tail and the breast are pink on mine.

theyve gotten a bit more flighty since then, gotta start bribing them with mealworms!

They are awesome! Bet they go crazy for mealworms. Such little fellas!

I haven't tried feeding mealworms to them though they do like the backyard worms.

If theyre eating off the ground or you are feeding them meal worms or other non water soluble foods they'll need digestive grit (not oyster shell) to actually digest those things.
