Hello! Just cooped my birds at the show, and I’m excited to see how Squirt and Loki will do! I’m more excited to see about Loki, who’s never been shown before. I was a little worried about their amount of lacing, but after seeing some other birds, I think they aren’t too much under.
Spending the night here in town, spending the rest of the night going to see The Lion King Musical live! Super excited to go enjoy that! I’ll keep you updated on the results for tomorrow!

Still waiting! Judging doesn’t start for 20 more minutes! My poor birds are cold, as are the majority of the moderns. They’re all puffed up and shivering. My birds are on an additional pen on top of some other pens, so they are getting the worst of the air conditioning blown on them. I’ve taken them out and held them so they would flap and warm up, but they don’t stay warm long.
Still watching the Duckwing auction. It’s up to $50, but that rooster is a LOT better then the one I currently own, so i’m Gonna be trying to bring those home!

Sorry for the late reply, I didn’t have time to reply before now, but I’ve got news!
Starting with Squirt, she got Reserve Champion Game Bantam, (Lost to a really nice old English cock), best of variety, and best of breed!
Then Loki, (the Birchen) Got best of variety, over 4 other Birchens, and reserve best of breed!
I’m very happy, and relieved, because the judge almost skipped over my birds (I guess he didn’t see them on top) then a staff member pointed them out, and then he saw them, so thankful for that staff member!)
As for the Auction, I decided that $200 was too high, and they went off to a little girl and her mom hoping to start showing, so at least they’ll have a good home!
