12 ft by 12 ft coop going to add another 12 ft onto it this summer if I can get time. I just got my 10 by 16 coop to be delivered for my bantams so the wife thinks I need to get to work on the big girls coop soon. All is still a work in progress as we learn things and our flock grows.

this is the about 25 ft by 40ft run of course the coop takes up one corner of it. it is a muddy mess right now I had no idea they were that hard on grass. I'm still trying to figure out what to do probably going to get dumptrucks full of wood chips. and put big piles of them in the run and let the girls spread them out for me. They do have 12ft by 12ft dry area under the coop they spend alot of time in it has a trenched in "footing" of hardware cloth and it covered over top with the same chicken wire the sides are made of. and has it's own electric fence that is plugged in at night once the girls are all in. They free range pretty much every day in the summer spring fall not so much in the winter. I need to cover a good bit of the run and it is also getting extended at least doubled plus the bachelors section is being moved out to their own coop to so that will give the girls more room too. I"ll get pics of the inside when we get it renovated like the wife now wants it. so you will see coop 2.0 on the inside eventually.

OH yeah notice the tape on the coop windows? note that my windows open out from th e bottom and are proped up kinda like a awning so when it rains it isn't al blowing right in . But go figure that that is a bad idea when your coop and run shade is provided by walnut trees. I"m sure you get the idea that is another thing I have to work on this spring getting an awning over them to prevent more glass breakage.
