We have rescued 98% of our animals

Bob (was returned to Petco with no tail)

Lucy 7 years old (was a former hunting beagle that we were given at 3 years old)

Anabelle 4 years old (was 5 weeks about to be euthanized when we recused her)

Molly 10 years old (found on Craigslist at 8 weeks and about to be sent to high volume kill shelter)

Jolene 11 months old

Jack 4 years old (given to us by a veterinarian at 6 months, he was feral and mean or so they say) Anabelle and Jack like doing yoga!

Thank you. We have such a variety, just like we do with our chickens. I don't know how we got so lucky but they're a great pack. We are hoping to add a Great Pyrenees in the future.

I have an ancient Chihuahua who loves nothing more than to be warm. His name is Sprocket.


We call this one “the construction supervisor”

Seeking warmth on a cool day in early fall:

He is 18 years old, brought home from the shelter after being found wandering in a 400-acre park, sick and only 2/3 of his normal body weight. Now he is hard of hearing and doesn’t see too well, but he knows us by scent and is so happy to be with us. Especially by the woodstove!

I have 2 beagles, one is ticked like Lucy. She’s nine, name Sprinkles. Willow is our 12 year old beagle. Both are puppy mill rescues

My pets, my bunny died today, I am getting a new one tomorrow, the neighbors dogs came in my house and killed him. He had a large cage and was free range at day.
